Okay. So my goal of what I wanted accomplished with the Condo last Friday (By the way, I run this out of a1 bedroom condo shared with my hubby… I need a mansion.) um… so as I was saying… Cleaning. I have nearly accomplished it. I have Every Etsy Item placed in an organized place, I have my laundry not over flowing from the baskets, dishes caught up, the living room reorganized, still need to shred/sort a few mounds of paper and I need to vacuum and my delightful hubby is going to clean the floors with my wonderful parents high powered carpet cleaner (they own everything.) Then I shall be finally at peace within my own home.
Now, on to the goodies
New items that are all older then 2 months that I just never put up and I am so excited to find and post them. I actually have items spanning from the 1950s to the 1980s for todays listings.
You can see them at Ladygrungevintique.Etsy.com
Funny photo from walking down to the store to get Digorno Garlic Crust Pizza (my forever fav) last night. My hubby got sick of Gus pulling on the leash and put him in my “Eco-Friendly” reusable grocery bag: He loved it.

Ok. Now I will post on etsy like I am supposed to be.

I spent the weekend doing many things I wasn’t supposed to be or planning on doing…. but at least I had fun.
SO, We’re blessed with a friend with a boat who took my hubby lobster fishing. (Funny side note: we’re broker then broke, yet, we still get to do some kick butt things…) So I get this cleaning/ Rearranging furniture bug on Friday night when he leaves and I draw diagrams of furniture placement, generate a new system for storing my Etsy attire which leaves my hubby with room in the walk in closet and I plan to make a beat up 1950s side table into a dictionary table. So, Is all of the furniture arranged by the time he comes home? No… Oh, but Etsy is completely Organized Right? No…… The table? Of course! It’s a messy craft that will make a paper explosion all over the living room- of course I did it!
I always say that you can only push a man so far. So it’s 8:33am I’ve been up for 2-1/2 Hours doing photos, adjusting the pictures, posting the pictures and listening to hymns by The Issacs (dude- Awesome) because the house was in kayos, I’ve been storing Etsy all over the entire house on whatever surface I am using the wall near and he’s sick of it.
So, I will be secretly etsying for the next month or so to let him remember that the house is not a vintage shop and to feel normal and then hopefully I can do it during normal business hours again. Until then, I’m gonna look like I just woke up in each picture because I did.
Lesson learned: chopping up dictionaries and gluing definitions to a table is super fun and I will be doing a coffee table when I find one.

I AM THE MOST UNORGANIZED SMALL BIZ OWNER IN THE ENTIRE WORLD!!!!
I got into this for the shopping and the saving of neglected vintage jewels of clothing. Not for organizing stock, shipping items, reorganizing stock, taking photos, really trying to organize stock and for getting frusterated that I can’t organize my stock.
Bleh… Okay, I’m done…. ::::sigh:::: guess I’ll get back to finding out how much unposted attire I own stashed in various parts of my house to hide the amount from my husband.
I need a personal assistant. OR Better Yet: to be Wonder Woman… I’ll bet she could be an organized Vintage Owner!
P.S. She’s totally wearing tights!

My hubby and I continue our pursuit towards better health and a holistic healthy lifestyle. We now have a fantastic dentist in La Jolla that we will be working with to get the Mercury fillings out and have happy teeth.
Because she is 1+ hours away we decided to make a day of it.
We drove down to what looks on the map the last house before the Mexican border from La Jolla and took a few stops for photos.
The first stop was Girard Ave in La Jolla for some shopping and drooling all over the Ralph Lauren store. Lee had to listen to me rant about how In one week I can pull together the same wardrobe without the pricetag for under $100 (cashmere and all). But I don’t think he’s interested to which I say- His loss!
I did adore the boots… so warm, so impractical unless riding a horse…. and yet, I want to wear them everywear. Also LOVED the Beige wool Shift with Cap Sleeves and I have fooled myself into believing that I will use the vintage wool I just bought to make it’s equivilant. We shall see.
Unfortionetly I was too tired to hit the local thrift shops so we just drove and then ate some fantastic salad at BJs Pizza. (Try the BBQ Chicken salad if you ever get a chance…. onion rings in salad beats our crutons anyday.)
Here’s some photos:
This one I entitle “Our Broken Dollar”

My beloved drove giving me many chances for self photography ( which is my hobby)

There’s more but I won’t bore you. But you can note my 1970s Light cotton plaid hooded shirt nuzzled under a 1980s tan jacket with a fluffy collar. Sunglasses were picked up at the swapmeet…. not vintage….
Now, I am going to catch up on photos because new items will be pouring into the shop all week long.

This is my new blog. I have started this to keep my clients up to date on upcoming events, sales and also random bits of my life.
Me:
I’m 27
I’m Married (to my HighSchool Sweetie)
I’m addicted to the thrill of the hunt that is vintage shopping
I’m 5′10″
I’m obsessed with cookie dough
I’m in love the tingle of Burts Bees Chapstick and the light freshness that I get from Dove Shampoos
I think that’s enough to get us aquainted.
Please see included photo of what my fantasy life would include…

I wish I was doing this
